The Suzuki Gsxr's dual headlights are more than a nod to the endurance racer, law at the time required symmetrical headlights, so it was either abandon the asymmetrical layout used by the racers for a single middle beam or go with this look.
It would later be emulated by everyone at Suzuki's competitors.
