Very aggressive design

Hironori Iguchi was the engineer in charge of all of the engine's moving parts during the Gsxr development and is now senior general manager of Suzuki's board.
"We were told to make it as light as possible. We have very aggressive design schemes, so it broke very often," he recalls of the extensive testing phase.
