Gsxr was 60 pounds lighter

Just as the Suzuki Gsxr 750 enjoyed a significant weight advantage over its rivals, so too did the Gsxr 1100.
Compared to the Kawasaki Ninja 900 R - a bike considered a lightweight in the class - the Gsxr was 60 pounds lighter.
It was an amazing 107 pounds lighter than a Honda VF 1000 R, according to Cycle magazine.
